About the clamps, and the meanings of the different types
We can provide clamps both for flat and pipe cable ladders. The original simple lock is for flat cable ladders, its name is SPF clamp. But, in special cases the operators need clamp for pipe, its name is SPFV clamp.
The only difference is in the lock of clamps. For the locks we use some types of plastic saddles for various diameters. We have double saddles for the next diameters: 4mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm,
16mm, 20mm, 1⁄2”, 7/8”, 1 5/8”. The name of a saddle depends on the size of the cable, which the saddle can hold properly. The components of a tipical SPF clamp are in the drawing below.
With these saddles we are able to service clamps for the full range of telecommunication cables. But, if you or your operators use different type of cables, ASPF can provide saddles for it in a short time period.
Components of SPF812-4 clamp, which is usable for flat steel (4 holes for 8mm FO cables and 12mm DC cables).
All the raw materials are originated in the European Community.
Examples for SPFV clamps, which are usable both for flat steel and pipe:
– Körhöz, d=25mm
Saddles for feeder cables:
Though we have saddles up to 20mm for FO, DC and MW cables, sometimes our costumers need clamps for feeder cables. Therefore we offer our 7/8” and 1 5/8” saddles.
Naturally, these saddles fit to the threaded bar of the clamps, so you can vary with the other SPF saddles.
